Therapy That Makes Room for the Whole Picture
You may know that something needs to change without knowing exactly what kind of therapy you need.
That’s okay.
Most people don’t show up saying, “I need a specific therapeutic modality.” They show up because they’re exhausted from overthinking everything. Because something that happened years ago still feels strangely present. Because they keep ending up in the same patterns. Because their body seems to be bracing for something even when life is relatively calm. Or because they’ve gotten very good at functioning while quietly feeling awful.
My job is to help us figure out what’s happening—and what might actually help.
I provide individual telehealth therapy for adults in Illinois and Florida, with a particular focus on trauma, anxiety, nervous-system dysregulation, and the ways past experiences can continue showing up in the present.

I provide individual telehealth therapy for adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, overwhelm, difficult relationship patterns, grief, chronic stress, and the lasting effects of experiences that still feel present long after they ended.
My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed. I draw from EMDR, parts work/IFS-informed therapy, mindfulness, somatic approaches, ACT, DBT-informed skills, and nervous-system-informed care depending on what makes sense for you.
You don’t need to know which approach you need before reaching out. That’s something we figure out together.
I commonly work with:
Trauma & complex trauma
Anxiety & chronic overthinking
Depression & self-criticism
Dissociation & shutdown
People-pleasing & perfectionism
Grief & loss
Medical trauma, chronic illness & pain
Life transitions & relationship patterns
-
EMDR can be incorporated into regular therapy when it fits your needs. It can be helpful when a painful experience, belief, or emotional reaction seems to remain “stuck” even when you understand it logically.
The goal isn’t to erase what happened or convince yourself it was okay.
It’s to help the past feel more like the past.
-
For some people, a longer block of focused trauma work makes more sense than fitting everything into a weekly session.
EMDR Intensives offer extended time to focus on a particular experience, belief, or issue without needing to stop just as the work gets going.
Intensives are private-pay and are not billed to insurance.
